Pizza boobs

She felt wretched this evening. All screwed up into a tight ball, snappy, restless, mentally exhausted, like she’d swum laps in a bowl of sugar and salt.   The holidays were reaching their peak and so was she.  “You’re so grumpy tonight mama.”

It was nearly the kids bath time but this evening she decided she was going to take that hot water for herself! She had showered that morning, they could use her bath afterwards. Closing the door she undressed and stepped into the bath. Folding her body into a 1950’s beauty pose so she could fit, her right breast, hip and thigh resting just above the water while the rest of her sunk below. She took a deep slow breath and lay her head back on the side of the bath savoring the quiet, the peace.

“ Hi mama….”  In stomped her 5 year old, her toothless smile so happy to see her mom naked.

“Boobies!” She grins stepping right up to the edge of the bath.

Her mom looks up at her under knotted brows, expecting her daughter to understand she should now exit the bathroom.  Instead little hands lean down and start squishing her right breast above the water,“ it’s pizza time!” She shouts,” look mama,  see how big and flat it’s getting!”   

“Yes thank you baby, now leave mama alone please.”  Laughing inside she didn’t engage with the smiles, not wanting to prolong the interruption.   Her daughter stood up and laughed.  “ Boobies!” she said again and then pointed at her moms vagina and said “Tintan!” Giggling she walked out, spying through the gap in the door, trying to keep the game going.

As her little voice faded away, silence again.  She looked down at her breasts.  The one above the water indeed flat, gravity spreading it out like a pancake, no wait a pizza! The left one below the water however had no such constraints.  Lying there in her awkward pin up pose she marveled at how the water allowed her breast to float into a perfect perk. This same position on dry land would have it running for her armpits but here, with the gentle support of the water she could pretend, just for a moment, she was 18 years old again.
