A while back I was chatting to Natalia Rachlin and Melissa Goldstein, the two cofounders and editors of Mother Tongue Magazine and asked them if they wanted to collaborate with me on These Four Walls.  They came back with a twist on this idea, suggesting instead they team me up with author and writer Molly Prentiss who would give me a title and from the photo story I made she would then write a story. A few months later Seconds was born.

Off the bat this title flooded me with feelings of nostalgia and the passing of time. I felt the years shooting by me, I saw my children’s little feet, I saw myself as a viewer, looking in, looking back. No longer part of that present, relegated to the nose bleed seats; an observer of those moments, my time had passed.

Mollys story can be seen below or read in the Fall/Winter 23/24 issue of Mother Tongue Magazine.
